A PSP enhanced port entitled Gran Turismo Mobile was originally planned for development, but was later renamed to Gran Turismo, which was released October 1, 2009. A limited-edition, Gran Turismo 4 Online test version, was released in Japan in summer 2006. The Chinese, Japanese, and South Korean releases of the game were bundled with a 212-page driving guide and lessons on the physics of racing. Gran Turismo 4 was well-received critically and a commercial success, becoming one of the highest-selling games of 2005, and the third best-selling game on the PlayStation 2. The game also features 51 tracks, many of which are new or modified versions of old Gran Turismo tracks, with some notable real-world additions. The game features over 721 cars from 80 manufacturers, from as early as the 1886 Daimler Motor Carriage, and as far into the future as concepts for 2022. Originally planned for a 2003 release, Gran Turismo 4 was delayed for over a year and a half by Polyphony Digital, and had its online mode removed. It was developed by Polyphony Digital and published by Sony Computer Entertainment and was released on December 28, 2004, in Japan and Hong Kong, February 22, 2005, in North America, and March 9, 2005, in Europe, and has since been re-issued under Sony's 'Greatest Hits' line.

Having spent quite a bit of time with the new Driving Force Pro and GT4 Prologue and also previous Logitech models I can confidently say the difference is subtle in supercars where steering ratios are quite tight but definitely better even though you still don't need to use the full lock. Better force feedback and a gear shift lever although the build quality is not so good.īut as I said before, I think you will find all these wheels will soon be outmoded as realistic and variable steering locks take over in games.

That's a wonderful wheel, but actually the Momo Racing model is better and is commonly available here (I suggest you see the Computer Lounge, as last time they had them on sale). You the only Logitech site that still shows the Momo Force last time I looked is China, which has the same power supply rating as us but other than that I think you would be out of luck. Overall not bad, the extra making of GT4 disc is a nice bonus, the trailer for GT4 looks fukin unbelivable, thoughts? So far ive seen pizza hut, maccas, sansoung, kodak, coke-cola, LG, panasonic etc etcĬars are pretty nice, game handles about the same as GT3, so many invisable walls in the game tho. Grand canyon is another basic rally track, I love how the people move out out of the way when you drive pass and photographers taking pic of you right n the middle of the track and then run of the road before ou get there, quite well doneĪnd the new york track is pretty cool, basic layout like Tokyo route 246 but tis all downtown, its really coolĪnd talk about relastic, reflections of the glass skyscrapers and I havnt seen so many real logos in one track The narrow-arse italtian track is quite well done, extremely hard tho, pity it wasnt at night time and in japan, then it be mount-akina stylezzz The 2 japanese racing tracks are pretty standard, landscapes a bit sparce tho, but I guess its still in devlopment Its a lot like GT Concept really, except the training modes (main) is a little bit harder this time aroundĪnd all the 5 tracks included are Brand new GT tracks
